We started Flyway Brew Co. because we believed coffee could help accomplish something bigger.

From the beginning, our goal has been simple: provide people with genuinely fresh, great-tasting coffee while using the business to help support the people and organizations doing real conservation work.

Flyway Brew Co. alone isn't going to save America's wetlands.

We aren't going to restore the Prairie Pothole Region by ourselves. We aren't going to protect every acre of waterfowl habitat, build every wood duck box, restore every marsh, improve every nesting area, or support every conservation project that deserves help.

But together, we can make a difference.

Every person who buys a bag of coffee becomes part of that effort.

We have made a commitment that 50% of Flyway Brew Co. profits will go toward conservation efforts and the people and organizations doing the work.

That isn't a slogan we came up with because it sounds good on a coffee bag.

It's the foundation of what we're trying to build.

There are people across this country who spend their own time, money, and energy improving habitat, protecting wetlands, helping waterfowl, installing nesting structures, educating the next generation, and fighting to preserve wild places.

Some are large organizations.

Others may simply be one person with an incredible idea and the determination to make it happen.

We want Flyway Brew Co. to be able to help them.

Conservation Doesn't Always Have to Start With a Huge Organization

One thing that's important to us is recognizing that some of the best conservation work happens at the local level.

Maybe it's someone building and maintaining wood duck boxes.

Maybe it's a group restoring a wetland.

Maybe it's someone improving nesting habitat.

Maybe it's a landowner creating better habitat for ducks, turkeys, quail, pheasants, or other wildlife.

Maybe it's a small nonprofit doing incredible work that most people have never heard about.

Those efforts matter.

We want to hear those stories.

And as Flyway Brew Co. grows, we want our ability to support those efforts to grow with it.

Why Coffee?

Because millions of us already drink it.

Coffee is part of our mornings.

It's there before we head to work.

It's brewing at 3:30 in the morning before we load the truck and head toward the marsh.

It's sitting in a thermos in the duck blind.

It's waiting at camp after a cold morning outside.

So we asked ourselves a simple question:

If we're already going to drink coffee, why can't that cup of coffee accomplish something more?

That's the idea behind Flyway Brew Co.

You shouldn't have to make a donation and get nothing in return.

Instead, buy something you're probably already buying.

Drink great coffee.

Get genuinely fresh beans.

And help us put money back into conservation.

The conservation mission doesn't mean the coffee gets to be an afterthought.

Our beans are freshly roasted and shipped the same day they're roasted because freshness makes an enormous difference in what ends up in your cup.
